Burns
Burns is a small town in rural eastern Oregon, surrounded by range
lands with the scenic Steens Mountain on the horizon. This quiet town
is at home with its Old West roots, with museums, rock shops, and
western art galleries dotting the small Main Street. Outside of town,
a number of natural attractions can be found within an hour's
drive. In addition to the dramatic fault-block range of Steens
Mountain, visitors will find the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge a
short distance south, popular with bird watchers, and the volcanic
features at Diamond Craters farther on down the road. Burns is
located in southeast Oregon, along US 205, about two hours east of
Bend. For more information on Burns, please select an area of interest
