Portland - Skiing / Snowboarding

Most visitors to the Portland area inclined to hit the slopes will head to neighboring Mount Hood, home to four downhill ski resorts, a number of cross-country trail systems, and beautiful Timberline Lodge, designated a National Historic Landmark. More intrepid adventurers might venture to Mount Bachelor, about 20 miles west of Bend.
